José Jiménez follows Ricardo Rifo, a former apprentice of Ingrid Olderöck, a notorious Pinochet agent known for torturing political prisoners with the help of dogs. Four decades later, amid the vast and desolate landscapes of southern Chile, Riffo struggles to give voice to the terror that forced him into silence. Shot on 16mm film in stark black and white, this experimental documentary allows silence and memory to speak with unsettling clarity. It was awarded a Special Mention at Flash at FIDMarseille.

José Jiménez is a documentary filmmaker with a Master’s in Film Creation from Université Paris VIII (France). As part of the same research behind his recently completed short Dead Tongue, he is developing his first co-directed feature, Exterra (2026). Both projects are supported by the Chilean National Production Fund.
