A talented art student in Athens during the military junta is isolated both from his fellow militant students and from the oppressive regime. Unable to accept either political mobilization or an alienated subsistence, he experiences a profound existential crisis. Set against the backdrop of the youth movements of the 1960s and 1970s, the film explores the individual’s search for authenticity and a personal path in a social environment hostile to self-fulfilment.
