Reflector Board /Reflecteurs

Description These are aluminum-covered wooden frames which are designed to reflect and direct light towards the subject of filming in both indoor and outdoor shots. They are placed on bases that allow them to change angle according to the direction of the sunlight. The frames are supported by a tripod. The surface of reflection is either smooth, in which case the light is ‘harder’ and with a more concentrated beam, or with a rougher texture, resulting in a ‘softer’ and more diffused light with a wider beam. The standard dimensions are 1.5 x 1.5 m. The specific examples come from the ‘60s.
