Summary At a costume ball, a young student of the School of Fine Arts, Mina, dressed as a nun, meets the man of her dreams. He is dressed as Romeo; his name is Petros, and he is an employee in a company. They arrange to meet again. Since, however, they aren’t wearing their glasses when they meet, not only do they not recognize each other, but they also quarrel. The same thing happens with their mothers, who also quarrel all the time, without, however, preventing their children from getting married and all of them living together in a small apartment (the mothers and the otherworldly saxophonist brother of Mina). The quarrels, of course, don’t stop, and the adversities of life lead the couple to quickly separate, giving the in-laws great satisfaction. But, at the next costume ball, dressed up in the same clothes, they will reflect upon their airs and graces, and, with more maturity, they decide to get married again.
