Summary Thanasis Koutras (Thanasis Vengos) leaves Mesolongi and comes to Athens to meet the presenter of the famous radio contest “New Talents”, Giorgos Oikonomidis. The brilliant entertainer, in order to get rid of him, talks him into opening an office for talent scouting and one of his first clients is the student Kostas Lyridis, who wants to become an actor. Kostas’ father, who owns a factory, is convinced to finance the production of the film “The villa of damsons”, starring his son, but also assigns Oikonomidis to persuade him not to abandon his studies. That’s what Eleni Galinou, desires; Eleni is a wealthy girl, in love with Kostas, who, in order to win him, becomes Thanasis’ secretary. Thanasis commences the film’s production and falls in love with Eleni, but, is absolutely astonished when he learns that her father is very rich and she is in love with Kostas, who, apparently isn’t meant for an actor and consequently the shooting has to stop. However, Kostas’ father is a generous man and doesn’t ask for his money back, allowing Thanasis to keep his office, waiting for more suckers to come.
