Summary A Greek officer working for the counterespionage, captain Kostas Varsos (Kostas Prekas), returns unexpectedly to Athens from India, two years after being injured in Calcutta, where he had been on a secret mission. He presents himself to general Zachos and denominates a double agent, Orestis Glafkos, who happens to be Zachos’ brother in law. His superiors decide to keep his arrival secret, even from his own wife, in order to thoroughly research his accusations. Varsos can’t wait. His daughter has a grave accident and he wonders whether or not to reveal himself, in order to stand by his daughter, in spite the consequences. Then he is informed that his wife is planning to get married to Renos Damianos, a close partner of general Glafkos and, so, decides to uncover. Just before he does that, the counterespionage men trap a spy and reach the real traitor who is no other than Renos Damianos.
