Summary Tryfonas and Agop have a store selling clothes and they sell in installments, ending up chasing their money. Nearby there is Fontas’ kiosk, which sells roast corn and has constant trouble with the police. Kaiti lives next door. She works at a women’s lingerie store and she is in love with her boss, Kostas. Kostas is seduced be Bempa, a singer performing at Bampis’ nightclub and with whom he spends all his money, ending up bankrupt. Tryfonas and Agop are led to bankruptcy too, as their clients’ debts have skyrocketed. However, Kaiti with the financial contribution of her brother who lives in the U.S., opens a beauty store and hires everyone: Agop, Tryfonas, Fontas and, of course, Kostas.
