Summary Sailor Renos is serving twenty days in prison because he returned late to his unit. He was on a date with a ballerina, Betty. Betty, feeling desperate and unable to bear her lover’s absence, goes to the naval yard hidden in a packing case with the uniforms of the commander. She is, however, detected, and the master-at-arms sounds the alarm, but now she is nowhere to be found. Betty is on Reno’s ship, hiding in his bag. More chaos follows, but in the end the girl manages to return ashore dressed as an American sailor and dashes back to her theater.
