DIMOS FROM TRIKALA

Summary The lively womanizer Paraskevas, who sometimes likes to play around outside of the family confines, has made up a scheme to sneak out of the house: using his twin brother Dimos, who indeed exists but doesn’t look at all like him. His wife, Lela, has never met Dimos, who lives in Trikala and has never come to Athens. One day, however, Lela sees a photograph in the window of a photo studio: Paraskevas with a girl at a seaside taverna. Paraskevas, of course, claims that the man in the picture is his twin brother. Lela doesn’t believe it and decides to pay him back in the same coin.
