Summary Marina is a poor, plump girl. She works in a tourist agency and shares a room with a friend of hers who is a singer. However, one day she is fired and has to work for a rich Greek-American as his guide, so she takes him sightseeing. She meets a young man who works at a garage but who pretends to be rich in order to make her love him. She also pretends to be the Greek-American’s niece. One lie leads to another, and things get complicated - but love wins in the end.
