Summary A very superstitious building contractor, Kosmas (Nikos Stavridis), meets an old friend (Giannis Gkionakis) by chance, whom he believes to be a bringer of good luck and ends up supporting him financially. His friend, however, turns out to be a con man, who left his wife and child, and who takes advantage of the weaknesses of those around him. Eventually, he is found out, and, consequently, Kosmas and his wife adopt the conman’s child.
