Summary Geralis (Nikos Kourkoulos), a conscientious neurosurgeon who is dedicated to his science and his child, is called upon to perform brain surgery on a patient with a brain tumor. The operation is a success, but immediately thereafter the patient is abducted with the help of the clinic’s manager. Geralis makes this case a personal matter and starts investigating. He discovers that the patient is Panagiotis Argyropoulos, president of the Greek Petrol Company, who had unwittingly become involved in the fierce rivalry among the most influential multinational oil companies. Geralis realizes that he is treading on dangerous ground but is determined, with the help of the DA, to get to the bottom of this, despite the dangers and difficulties he encounters. Finally, thanks to the DA’s efforts, some of the minor players in the case are arrested, although the minister tries to obstruct justice. Geralis’ fate however is tragic, as he loses his only son in a car accident.
