I WILL BURN MY MONEY

Kleon, a chemist, hates children, but his wife, Sasa, adores them. Kleon’s wealthy uncle, Timoleon, promises to leave him his entire estate, but on one condition: that he has a child. Kleon does indeed make an effort, only to realise that he is infertile. Consequently, he asks his friends, Giorgos and Nitsa, who already have several children, to have another one which Kleon would introduce to Uncle Timoleon as his own. Soon though, Kleon leaves for the U.S. for his post-graduate studies, and just then a long-lost cousin (married to a German woman and with three children), steps in and claims Uncle Timoleon’s estate. But the good uncle discovers that the “cousin” is actually an impostor and gets rid of him. He also sees through Kleon and Sasa’s scheme, but nevertheless agrees that adoption is the best possible solution.
