Summary On a rainy night, Vera arrives at Elsa’s villa. The two women, in their thirties, lonely and scared, conniving and ruthless, use every trick in the book to trap and destroy each other in order to keep for themselves the loot from a robbery they committed with the help of Elsa’s husband, who was Vera’s lover as well, and who is now dead. His body is floating in the swimming pool. While Elsa and Vera are trying to carry the body away and throw it into the sea, the dead man arises and becomes the third player in an infernal game of annihilation. The three characters have now created a real Hell for themselves, a deadly and terrifying illusion. And when the game is done, what is left is just three dead bodies floating in the deserted villa’s swimming pool.
