Summary The two owners of stores featuring modern clothes, hard-working, strict and conservative Pantelis (Nikos Stavridis) and cheerful and optimistic bon vivant Fotis (Ntinos Iliopoulos) may have completely different characters, but they have one thing in common; they both disapprove of the romantic union of their children (Alekos Tzanetakos and Viky Vanita). They forbid the youths from seeing each other, but their children create a ruse to fool their fathers: they get a man (Giannis Gionakis) to pretend that he is the assistant to a rich friend of theirs from America (Mimis Fotopoulos) who intends to select one of the two stores for his business dealings. Pantelis develops a more outgoing and optimistic demeanor, while Fotis gets down to hard work and focus. When their children eventually marry, the two men establish a good friendship.
