NO MORE PENNIES
Facing the prospect of being evicted from his home, Agisilaos (Vasilis Avlonitis) asks his friends if they can lend him money. Rita (Pari Leventi) follows him, pleading with him to accept her as his son’s bride, but he avoids her. Eventually, Agisilaos approves his son’s engagement to the young woman. At the same time, with the help of a young widow who was his landlord’s (Takis Miliadis) object of desire, Agisilaos manages to overcome his financial problems.
