FINAL MISSION

A young woman (Smaroula Giiouli) is arrested for the murder of an elderly woman. At the police station she narrates her story, starting from the first year of the war. Her father (Vasilis Diamantopoulos) was a military man who fled to Cairo, Egypt. Her mother (Miranta Myrat) had lived with a German officer. The girl had joined the Resistance movement, and when her father returned to Greece on a mission, her mother betrayed her to the Germans. The young woman confesses that, unable to control her rage, she shot her mother, but before dying, her mother stated that she had shot herself and begged forgiveness from her daughter.
