Summary A poor young couple, Martha and Manos (Niki Triantafyllidi and Tolis Voskopoulos), who have grown up together, are in love. Martha’s financial problems force her to marry a rich man (Vasilis Andreopoulos). After their break-up, Manos writes a song which becomes a hit, and he meets another woman (Maria Pefani) whom he marries. Fate reunites the couple when Martha’s husband is killed in an accident and Manos’ father (Lavrentis Dianelos) is the accused. Manos, aided by Martha, proves his father’s innocence, but in the end he does not return to Martha but remains faithful to his wife.
