The mother (Marika Nezer) of Paschalis (Tasos Giannopoulos) decides to send him to Athens because he isn’t doing well at school and spends all his time on football. There, a friend of his, a musician (Giorgos Velentzas) persuades him to pursue a career in folk music. Indeed, he makes a career out of it and becomes famous, but he soon loses his shine and is forced to return to the rural life of the village, where he gets married and starts a family.
