STONE YEARS
This is the true story of a couple – fighters of the left, played by Dimitris Kataleifos and Themis Bazaka in the cinema. The story begins in 1954 when they met, and goes on through the hard years of illegality, persecution, arrests and imprisonment. In the little time of freedom that they have, they try to enjoy one another. In 1967, with the Regime of the Colonels, the girl is sent to the Averof prison, where she gives birth to her son. The latter grows up in prison and attends the wedding of his parents - also inside the prison. The couple’s redemption comes in 1974, with the restoration of democratic rule.
