Summary The orphan Giannakis (Giannakis Kalatzopoulos) struggles to survive the cruelty and poverty of his everyday life. Destiny brings into his life a kind man who is willing to help him. Another mischievous man (Christoforos Nezer), however, also comes into his life, who kidnaps him and forces him to beg. Giannakis saves the daughter of a professor (Dimitris Myrat), tells him his story, after which the professor writes a book which becomes a success and earns a lot of money. After curing his disability abroad, the professor will adopt Giannakis, determined to offer him the family and affection of which he was deprived.
