Summary Adapted from Nikolai Gogol’s play, “The Government Inspector”. Ntinos Iliopoulos plays the part of inspector Lamprou, a middle-ranking civil servant who is mistaken by other civil servants for an auditor. The corrupt clerks try to cajole him into returning a book of incriminating evidence that they think he has in his hands. In the end, the real auditor learns the truth, and Lamprou takes the repentant clerks under his strict supervision.
