DRUNKARD (THE)
Charalambos (Orestis Makris) loses his son on the Albanian front during World War II and ends up drunk on the streets in Plaka. His daughter (Billy Konstantopoulou) falls in love with the son (Dimitris Horn) of her employer and asks her father to stay sober in order to meet his future son-in-law’s parents. The elderly man despairs when he doesn’t manage, but the young couple comforts him and helps him get back on his feet.
