Summary The conservative headmaster (Vasilis Diamantopoulos) in a gymnasium in a Greek province tries to get close to a young female teacher (Anna Matzourani). He clashes with his two sons (Kostas Tsakonas and Nikos Kalogeropoulos), who disagree with his views. The confrontation comes to a head during a memorial service for the dead of the Resistance, where his sons, together with the young teacher, support someone from the village whose father fought on the side of Leftist forces but was never officially recognised by the state as a resistance fighter.
