Summary An unscrupulous hit-and-run driver fatally injures a woman and leaves her to die. The victim was the wife of Kostas Kyriazis (Kostas Kazakos), an examiner, who, six years later, is called upon to clear up a similar case. For the first time in his career, he thinks that he cannot be objective about a case - without emotional involvement as is required in the administration of justice. His fears are confirmed when he is led to the conclusion that the driver who recently left a victim to die on the street is the same person who was responsible for his wife’s death.
