Summary Marios Delipetrou (Lampros Konstantaras) is released from prison after serving a sentence of seven years. He had stolen some money to help his friend Dimitris. An unknown chauffeur picks him up and drives him to a villa where Dimitris’ beautiful widow Danai Rodana (Maro Kontou) informs him that her husband became very wealthy in the Congo and had named him as heir. Marios falls in love with Danai and sees Dimitris selling ice cream during a day trip to the island of Hydra. He finds out that the Congo story was a lie. Together with Dimitris, they go to the villa and – with help from Danai, whose real last name is Triantafyllidi and who works for the National Currency Protection Authority – they solve the mystery. Behind the scam is a guy named Adamopoulos, who was the CEO of the company for which Marios used to work. Adamopoulos wants to hire Marios in order to frame him for his own embezzling. Eventually, Adamopoulos is arrested at the airport, and Marios replaces him at the company. He also gets Danai.
