GOOD TIMES AND HIGH SPIRITS

Two reliably unemployed and penniless guys, Pavlakis and Markos, try, on the one hand, to find ways to earn their daily bread and, on the other, to marry the girls they love, the dancer Zoitsa and her sister Nina. Pretending to be a viscount, Pavlakis tries to get engaged to the wealthy Toto Moreti. His ruse, however, is exposed, and the two dawdlers are forced to flee. Zoitsa tries to find a job for them, but they mess up again and end up in the madhouse. The two sisters agree to appear in a club in Istanbul, but they are kidnapped by Sheik Osman’s men. Pavlakis and Markos, who have secretly followed them, pretend to be sheiks themselves, earn Osman’s trust and manage to free them. Then, they return with the girls to Greece, determined to marry them and finally settle down.
