Summary A rich building contractor, Kleanthis Tompoglou, wants to marry off his silly son Roulis to an exceptionally smart girl, Toula. However, an employee of his, Bampis, is in love with Toula, and he resents the fact that she doesn’t pay him much attention. So, he decided to use Tompoglou’s maid, Souzou (who is in love with Roulis), in order to thwart his boss’ plan. The involvement of Souzou’s, who pretends to be a wealthy countess, brings the expected results, since she ends up marrying Roulis, and Bampis marries Toula.
