EASTMAN KODAK model 1A Densitometer

This is a device which measures the density of a film negative: it is basically a light source aimed at a photoelectric cell, which measures the light which passes through the image. In this way, the sensitivity of the light-sensitive surface can be checked for either photographic or laboratory purposes. Made in the late 1950s.
