Right from the beginning the program refers to the sensation which THE HORSE caused in the Festival of Thessaloniki in 1965 and the source of inspiration of this short movie, the homonymous narrative of Zaharias Papantoniou. It underscores especially the “lyric realism of the author in the bond between a farmer and his horse, which (…) is preserved from Life with this happy passing of the text to the cinematographer”. It finishes with brief biographical details about the director and the distinctions of the film.
