Posterior title: MODERN ARISTOCRATS
A seaman from Piraeus falls in love with the daughter of a shipowner and decides to marry her, breaking off his previous engagement. At the same time, a bourgeois aspires to marry the same girl, but the girl herself doesn’t want to marry either of them, since she is in love with a poor employee in her father’s company. When these two succeed in marrying, the aspiring suitors return to their own fiancées.
