Summary A somewhat crazy kiosk owner, Manolios, who lives in a suburb of Athens, is looking for a guy who was, in a way, responsible for his father’s death. Most of his clients live at the nearby block of flats. It is a society’s miniature, with its problems and distinctive marks; the grumpy landlord, his son, the naïve porter, a young student and others. Between them, there are, normally, small fights and all kinds of feelings, such as Manolios’ love towards the student, who is obviously attracted to the owner’s son.
