Summary Romeo, a good-hearted guy who considers himself to be a great “Casanova,“ is let out of the madhouse for a trial period. His cousin, Leon Karfis, suggests that he should go on holiday to an island, where he will be observed by Tilemachos, a male nurse from the madhouse. Leon, however, wants to take over Romeo’s mother’s fortune, and for this reason wants to prove that his cousin is mad. However, his plans fail thanks to Martha’s unexpected intervention, a woman who works at the hotel where they stay and who is in love with Romeo.
