THERE IS ALSO PRIDE
One of the few Greek films that deftly manages to satirize the electoral process and its Greek version. The Minister Andreas Mavrogialouros (Lampros Konstantaras), on the occasion of the opening of a maternity hospital, visits the village of his electoral district, Plantania. After an accident, he discovers the dissatisfaction of his voters as well as the subterfuges of his colleagues. Thus, he decides to resign from the government and put his life in order, beginning with his card-playing wife and his fast-living daughter.
