LUCKY ONE (THE)
Posterior title: THYMIOS, SOUVLAKI AND BETTING
Thymios (Kostas Chatzichristos), an honest man from the countryside, goes to Athens and gets a job at a souvlaki joint owned by one of his village friends (Kostas Fermas). When Thymios wins the lottery, Stavros and Susanna (Nikos Rizos and Elsa Rizou) try to manipulate him and rob him of as much of his money as possible. The arrival of Thymios’ girlfriend’s siblings from the village brings things back into balance and saves him from the pair’s sinister schemes.
