SLACKERS OF THE FERTILE VALLEY (THE)

A father and his three sons (Vasilis Diamantopoulos, Nikitas Tsakiroglou, Giorgos Dialegmenos and Dimitris Poulikakos) inherit a manor located in a fertile garden. Together with the house they also inherit a pretty servant (Olga Karlatou), and they all fall into a state of slothfulness, having sex with the servant and leaving the house only to go out to eat. The youngest son becomes resentful over the situation, and when he discovers a book about the French Revolution, he rises up, determined to escape the intolerable idleness that prevails around him and makes him feel so trapped. The servant follows him and, trying to escape the “slumberous valley”, falls asleep lying on a tree trunk.
