FACE OF THE DAY (THE)
Grigoris (Kostas Voutsas), a shopkeeper from Katerini, wins first prize in a radio contest that covers his accommodation expenses for one week in Athens. When he arrives at the capital, the members of two gangs believe that he is “Polydoros”, the man who will be transporting a stolen statue in order to sell it to a wealthy collector. Grigoris, by chance, comes into possession of the statue, and the leader (Kostas Kazakos) of one of the gangs, with the help of a charming woman (Eleni Prokopiou) tries to set him up. In the end, Grigoris find himself being chased both by the gangs and the police.
