Summary Naïve Thymios (Kostas Chatzichristos) is dismissed from the gendarmerie because of his recklessness. Then he gets mixed up, and, instead of testifying in the trial of a relative of his, he testifies in another case, and as a result he is put in prison for two months. There he meets the man responsible for his dismissal from the gendarmerie, who gives him a job - but Thymios doesn’t seem to be able to keep it again. He falls in love with a fellow-villager, who, however, doesn’t want him, even when he wins the lottery.
