THE PRETTY WOMAN OF ATHENS

Zachos (Vasilis Avlonitis) has to marry Aristea (Georgia Vasileiadou) the landlady of a rich relative of his (deceased) in order to inherit his fortune. However, Aristea is ugly and rather old so Zachos tries to get one of his tenants (Mimis Fotopoulos and Nikos Stavridis) to marry her. He makes them rent Aristea’s room, which has been vacant. The two friends, who have no alternative, accept the situation. When they meet two young women (Gkelly Mavropoulou and Sperantza Vrana) though, they fall in love with them and contrive a way to force Zachos to abide by the terms of the will.
