MANDALENA

Summary The small community on an island in the Cyclades is divided because of the hatred between two captains (Lavrentis Dianellos and Theodoros Moridis). After one of them dies, his daughter Mandalena (Aliki Vougiouklaki) works his fishing boat in order to take care of her six younger siblings. The only person who stands by her in her struggle to survive is the local priest. Mandalena’s charm works wonders on Lampis (Dimitris Papamichail), the son of her father’s enemy. Thus, the longstanding feud between the two families comes to an end.
