Summary Small-time crook Makis and his fiancée Ntola get friendly with the nouveau-riche businessman Antonis Kartelis in order to get to his money. Kartelis’ wife wants to enter high society at all costs. However, her husband is smart and suspects something is going on. With the help of his down -to-earth daughter Mary and his young employee Angelos, with whom Mary is in love, he gives the crooks their due. Then, he agrees to Mary’s marriage to Aggelos as well as that of his younger, scatter-brained daughter, Julia, to her airhead aristocrat boyfriend Didi.
