Secret agent Lemy Caution comes to Alphaville, a faceless, futuristic Paris where the prevailing motto is:"Nobody has lived in the past, nor will survive in the future, the only form of life is the present". His mission is to strike downt he dictator Von Braun, who has the absolute control of all Alphaville through a monstrous computer, Alpha- 60, and who has banned emotions or the words that provoke them from the lives of all citizens. Lemmy encounters von Braun's daughter Natasha and their impossible love affair opens the road of liberation.
